Description: Three Medium A Whippet tanks of 3rd Battalion, Tank Corps, (numbers A262, A277 and A212), moving across an open field, probably not far from the road between Bray and Serre. A second scene shows the tanks moving on the road itself, being passed by an Army car and passing a light cart. The Whippets have difficulty turning off the road down a slight bank between quite widely-spaced trees, having to back and turn to get through the gap. The three continue quite rapidly over open country. On the same road a company of Highland troops, possibly Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, resting by the roadside, eating bread and jam. There are several 'old soldier' types among them. A final scene shows British soldiers escorting German prisoners, some with bicycles, down the same road.
British Whippet tanks and some Infantry moving towards the battlefield, probably the Bray-Serre road, Western Front, 26 March 1918.
